The scope of work will include:
Working with the VP HR and the HR Director to ensure all Reward and Global Mobility policies and procedures are compliant with the company’s strategic goals.
Maintaining and updating compensation and benefits policy according to legal requirements and manage the communications with internal stakeholders.
Acting as the key point of contact and lead for the outsourced International Mobility service.
Guiding management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing and updating policies and guidelines. You will ensure company compliance with national and/or local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actions.
Alongside the HR VP and HRD you will manage projects around strategic remuneration, reward strategy, job design, job classification, performance management, competency management policy.
Providing tailored HR advice to business leaders and other line managers on operational subjects including, but not limited to international mobility, salary review guidelines, pensions, health insurances, international contract management.
Developing, executing and safeguarding the review of compensation & benefits and mobility plans and policies in line with the company’s strategic goals and local requirements.
Coordinating the C&B processes and managing the related reward projects (benefits development). This includes working with the HRD on coordination and implementation of payroll & benefits at new locations and countries.
Assisting in resolving employee relations issues, legal and compliance guidelines, and statutes.
Conducting salary enquiries (internal and external benchmarks) and proposing new elements where needed.
Coordinating with the VP HR and HRD to implement new HR and talent initiatives and assessing their impact on the business and adapt them to business needs.
Participating in the Work Council and/or Trade Union meetings when needed as a Subject Matter Expert.
Working with the HRD to support the development of the HR vision, strategy, plan and budget.
Acting as a leader for HR services to support and deal with escalated queries and complex International Mobility, Benefits or Tax related work alongside our service providers.
Assisting with employee relations or engagement matters when a more senior level of support is required.

Over de organisatie

The position works closely with the main team based in our HQ in Wavre, Belgium but can be based remotely at any of our other locations, such as but not limited to UK, Germany, Italy or Spain. The position reports to the HR Director and has one direct report. This role works closely with the HR Director as well as all other Corporate Services teams.

Over je profiel

The following skills and experience are mandatory:
University degree (or equivalent experience) with five to seven years’ experience in HR Management, with experience in a multinational/international environment.
A demonstrated background in leading C&B, Global Mobility or Rewards programmes in an SME.
Knowledge of at least one European labour legislation.
Demonstrated ability to deal with all seniorities in an organization, including executives, business partners, line operators and peers.
Excellent business acumen.
Shown ability to deal with operational and transactional activities as Tier 2.
Self-starter, action, and result-oriented with the ability to function well independently, demonstrating ownership and self-sufficiency for project management and the achievement of agreed targets.
Able to demonstrate the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
Able to demonstrate the ability to lead as the change agent.
Ability to deliver the organization’s HR, talent, and business strategies.
Excellent analytical skills to understand areas of improvements and bring forward solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management skills to balance HR and Business Priorities.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills,
Hands on person with a “can do” and problem-solving attitude.
Team player with excellent customer service and communication skills.
Fluent in French, Dutch, and English, both written and spoken.


The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
Other experience working in international legislation.
Knowledge regarding international mobility (tax, social security, immigration).
Knowledge regarding international pensions.
Knowledge of any other EU languages
