As HR-manager, you will be responsible for the further development and implementation of HR. In doing so, you will structure the HR-processes at UBQ Materials. Your responsibilities include employee engagement and various HR-projects. In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and rolling out HR-policies such as securing topics in a personnel manual.
  • Realizing corporate goals.
  • Talent acquisition together with the recruiter.
  • Coaching and managing managers and team where you support them on HR-topics such as absenteeism etc.
  • In, through and outflow of employees.
  • Supporting and member of MT.
  • Reporting to the Plant Manager with dotted line to the Global HR-VP.
  • Implementing organizational changes within UBQ Materials.

Where there are people, there is waste. Literally everything we do creates it. And with so many of us, the amount of waste generated has reached 2 billion tons a year and continues to grow at an alarming rate. What if there was a way to put all this waste to good use? This is exactly the question that sparked the foundation of UBQ Materials. We set out on a mission to rethink the very notion of waste and turn it into something good, useful, even celebrated. For thousands of years, consumption was a straight line, and at the end of it was a pile of garbage. It is the dawn of a new era, because we’ve successfully bent that line into a perfect circle.

UBQ materials is starting at business an ambitious process of globalization. The Netherlands is the first massive production facility (Plant) of many that will Achieve the Vision of the company around the world, a World without waste. This is a project for those who are touched by the Vision of UBQ and the willing the impact in the environment. The location in the Netherlands will have 150 employees, of which about 80 will be operators and the rest will be staff. 

Over je profiel

As a HR-manager, you are a solid interlocutor. You are able to positively influence behavior inside and outside the organization. You are aware that engagement plays a big role within UBQ Materials, as they are still in the start-up phase of the company. You bring the following:

  • You have a college degree (HRM preferred).
  • You are available for 40 hours per week.
  • You have 3 to 6 years of experience as an HR-businesspartner or similar role.
  • Experience in the industrial & manufacturing environment is a big plus.
  • You have strong organizational skills and you speak and write fluent Dutch & English.
  • You are result- and goal oriented.
  • You have good knowledge of HR Processes and familiar with relevant Dutch labor laws and regulations.
