As HR manager Netherlands, you will take the lead in setting up and professionalising HR across several entities (3) in the Netherlands and Belgium. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you operate across strategic, tactical and operational levels. Build and structure HR from the ground up, and drive change. Remote (NL) or in the Amsterdam region.

De functie

As HR Manager Netherlands, you are the driving force behind building, structuring and professionalising HR across multiple entities in the Netherlands and Belgium (approx. 120 employees). This is a hands-on builder role in a scale-up environment. There is limited existing structure, giving you the opportunity to truly put HR on the map. You operate across strategic, tactical and operational levels and work closely with Managing Directors, the HR Director and the Works Council.

You bring clarity, create structure and build a future-proof HR organisation.


Responsible for o.a. : HR Leadership & Strategic Partnering, HR operations & compliance, Country-Level HR projects, Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Translating global HR strategy into local, actionable HR priorities.
  • Supporting and advising managing directors and entity-level HR teams.
  • Integration new acquisitions and standardizing HR processess where none exist.
  • Ensuring legal compliance, employee relations excellence and consistent implementation of HR frameworks.
  • Leading country-level HR programs and coordinating HR activity across multiple business units.
  • Acting as the primary HR escalations point for all Dutch entities.

Within the Normec Healthcare Division, you will join a fast-growing, international organisation specialised in testing, inspection and certification within the healthcare sector. With approximately 5,500 employees worldwide and a strong buy & build strategy, Normec is in an ambitious growth phase, backed by a private equity investor.


Healthcare is one of four business lines within Normec, each with its own HR Director. This role is newly created and offers a unique opportunity to build and shape HR within the Netherlands.

You will visit locations approximately once per month and work closely with the HR Director.

Je profiel

Professional Experience:

  • 5–10+ years of broad HR-experience, ideally in multi-entity or scale-up environments.
  • Proven experience in.
  • HR Business Partnering.
  • Complex employee relations.
  • Organisational development and change.
  • Building and improving HR-processes.
  • Experience working with a Works Council.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labour law.

Competencies

  • Self-starter who thrives in environments with limited structure.
  • Comfortable rolling up sleeves where there is no established HR infrastructure.
  • Able to make decisions and confidently say “no” when needed.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
