De functie

As an HR Business Partner you will be partnering with the People Operations team and other leaders and managers within the company to bring a people first approach in all aspects of the work. You will be responsible for the EMEA region with approximately 100 employees, mostly located in the Netherlands and Belgium, others work remotely from different European countries. You will be a trusted advisor for leaders to coach and mentor them on best practices, and strategies and approaches that create the best possible experience and work environment for the people.

As HR Business Partner you can make an impact an a difference. Even though your team works across the world, you will work closely together to globalize the processes within the company and discuss important subjects during your weekly team meeting.

Other responsibilities are;

  • Ensure Global alignment that reduces complexity in the day to day operations and enable the people leaders across regions to be empowered and successful;
  • Act as an HR advisor to managers and support in strategic and operational HR matters;
  • Support managers in Recruitment processes and On- and Offboarding;
  • Implement and maintain HR policies, tools and processes (for example: salary reviews, performance management, KPI's, succession planning.);
  • Participate in Employer Branding and Learning & Development activities;
  • Drive labour law-related matters;
  • Collaborate with managers in finding the perfect candidates to fit the team;
  • Leverage data from HRIS and other systems, including eNPS Surveys and other types of input that allows us to make informed decisions and recommendations that can improve our overall people experience;
  • Manage the sick registration and Wet Verbetering Poortwachter.

Je profiel

You are independent, self-motivated and flexible with the ability and excitement to be hands on with day to day operational tasks, with the ability to see the bigger picture, think globally, and think strategically in ways that can simplify routine tasks and automate them where possible, while still keeping a people first touch. You have a strong business acumen, emotional intelligence and situational awareness to handle sensitive issues and situations with high levels professionalism.

Furthermore, we ask:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated HR experience, also in an international company, preferable EMEA responsible.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and verbal;
  • Experience in working within a global team with people in multiple regions and countries;
  • Well versed and deep understanding with HR policies, compliance and laws within the Netherlands, and Belgium regions, and preferable other EMEA countries
  • Ability to work and be flexible when needed with work schedules to collaborate globally across various regions and time zones.
  • For this position we ask you to come to the office partially (2 days in the office and the remaining days can be done remotely), therefore we need you to reside in the Netherlands.
