Wat ga je doen?

With the growth of Robeco into an internationally operating company and the necessary focus on being in control and compliant, having standard and technologically supported HR processes has become of key importance. Therefore, Robeco is developing a process approach and recently implemented a new HR system Workday, to internationally enable the organization to effectively and digitally manage HR processes using the Workday standards. With the new system we are able to manage our global employee related data in one place and effectively manage our HR processes using the Workday cloud based system. This system is catering for effective manager’s and employee self-service and it provides the possibility for us to create reports and dashboards to support our HR services. This reporting and the analysis of their human resource data is becoming increasingly important towards the future to further enhance their people management on the basis of data.

The position directly reports to the CHRO and is part of the HR Leadership team. The Global HR department consists of 5 teams: the HR Service Desk, HR Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, HR Learning & Development and HR Advisory.

The candidate will work together with the in-house IT expert for HR, IT and has an HR Analytics and reporting specialist reporting to him/her. Important stakeholder is furthermore the external IT service partner as well as their application partner PWC (only to finalize implementation) and software partner Workday!

The Manager HR IT and Analytics is, together with HR process owners, responsible for the overall development, optimization and maintenance of all the HR processes. The cndidate should have a clear understanding of HR process management and be able to translate policies into processes. Together with the team he/she should be able to set the development agenda and design/configure the requirements for the HR IT-system (Workday).

Responsibilities:

  • Co-develop, improve and optimize the HR processes, supporting policies. Ensure that processes are supported by the HR IT system and relevant reporting is made available. Manage and steer the change management process needed for continuous improvement and optimization, setting the priorities and ensuring an integrated approach.
  • Manage stakeholders both internal (e.g. Finance and IT) and external(Workday and other suppliers)
  • Safeguard and manage the change management process, ensuring alignment with the standard Workday approach (e.g. limiting tailoring).
  • Develop and optimize management dashboards for HR.
  • Work together with the team on improvement of user experience of MyWorkday.
  • Develop HR Analytics for Robeco: define reports and make analysis to support people management.
  • Management of the implementation of the bi-annual Workday updates and lead the decision making process ref. new features/enhancements, manage the partnership with Workday for HR.
  • Ensure the Performance Management Process, including the compensation changes, is managed well through MyWorkday. Reports and information for decision making have to be available to management in a timely manner.
  • Correct and accurate information need to be available at board level (e.g. input for calibration sessions). Evaluate the overall process and outcome.
  • Set-up and manage the access and security hierarchy for MyWorkday; ensure data privacy is well managed.

Guide and work together with the HR Analytics and reporting specialist who focuses on:

  • Implementation of change requests and/or make improvements in MyWorkday.
  • Troubleshoot issues that occur in MyWorkday
  • Running and developing reports.
  • Implement MyWorkday updates together with IT and the business owners.
  • Manage and monitor the end-user-test processes.

Over je profiel

The ideal candidate:

  • Has academic education and work level.
  • Has experience with Workday! and several years’ experience in the field of HR processes and systems.
  • Has strong affinity and/or experience in the Asset Management Industry and strong analytical skills, is accurate and at the same time pragmatic.
  • Works in a structured and organized way, keeping track of deadlines and able to set right priorities, has project management skills and experience.
  • Is capable to translate ideas into concrete proposals and changes.
  • Has a good understanding of HR processes and HR systems and is able to work independently and challenge the way of working based on his/her experience and knowledge.
  • Has strong problem solving skills and is keen to try out new approaches.
  • Is a team player and likes to cooperate with others.
  • Proficient in the English language (written and spoken).
