As an HR-generalist, you independently ensure an effective execution of the complete HR operations for the Plant Management team and their teams. Your responsibilities include;

  • Internal Communication: you optimize communication within the company for all HR-related topics (including E-HR).
  • Personal development & Talent management: you coordinate training programs and career development, develops a plan to identify critical roles and functions.
  • Performance Management: you take care of the annual performance appraisal process and advise management on changes.
  • Compensation & benefits: you investigate compensation options and keep current on industry market compensation & benefits trends. Also, you manage employee benefit plans and (group) insurances.
  • Recruitment: you are the point of contact for the agencies,
  • Employee relations: you act as the primary #go-to person# for any work related issue.
  • Payroll & HR administration: you are going to manage payroll and benefits administration.
  • Industrial relations: you have an active role in the works council.

Additionally, you support the local HR manager and manage HR related projects such as supporting with the Employee Satisfaction Survey or updating the job framework.

Belden Venlo is part of Belden Inc, a multinational with head offices based in the US. The location in Venlo contains multiple business and platforms with a production plant, distribution center and office location. Belden Venlo employed 200-250 people in 2020. As an HR-generlalist you are part of the International HR team, and your direct colleagues in the Netherlands are one other HR-generalist who is responsible for office and the distribution center and the HR-manager.



Over je profiel

Your profile:

  • A Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Human Resources or equal.
  • At least 3 years experience in an HR Generalist role in an international company.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch Labor law and international employment regulations.
  • Good PC skills (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Multilingual: Dutch, English as a minimum. Both written and spoken.

As a person:

  • Excellent communicator with good presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Hands-on experience and strong planning and organizational skills.
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment to deliver.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exemplary on ethics, integrity and confidentiality.

Over het aanbod

The offer:

  • A monthly gross salary of € 3,300 - €4,600 on a full-time basis.
  • 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days.
  • 8% holiday pay and an attractive pension scheme.
  • Thirteenth month's pay.
  • Travel allowance € 0.19 per kilometer.
  • An annual employment contract based on the terms of the Metalektro Collective Agreement.
