People Business Partner
De functie

As People Business Partner you will provide proactive day to day HR support and guidance to the North Sea Region. As a HR professional you are service minded, hands on and with a good dose of self-reflection.

You will drive, influence, advise and support all people aspects of organizational change, structures, performance and champion the development of modern people processes and business improvement initiatives.

From a People Strategy your role is to proactively support Stena Line’s ambition to be a leading employer in the sector; where people strive to become Stena Line employees and where other organizations and customers admire Stena Line for its brand and people values.

Stena Line is at the beginning of a transformation journey, as People Business Partner you are required to embrace automation and digital solutions whilst still at the same time ensuring that the employer employee relationship does not suffer any detriment to such changes.


Het profiel

To perform as a successful People Business Partner we ask that you have at least around 10 years experience in a comparable role. Furthermore it is important that you have extensive experience in guiding, coaching and advising managers in their people management skills.

In order to succeed in Stena Line’s ambition in being a leading employer in the sector we expect you to know the ins- and outs of talent management and are able to create a talent pipeline plan in cooperation with the other regions and ensure that high-potential talent is visible and being actively developed. As People Business Partner you work closely with colleagues abroad and take part in various work groups to ensure that Stena Line’s ambition to be a leading employer can be realized, therefor it is important that you have experience in a similar complex and international work environment.

Furthermore you are required to travel abroad once in a while and have experience with professional communication in English.

Stena Line has a modern fleet of 35 vessels and Europe's most comprehensive route network consisting of 20 ferry routes in Scandinavia, Ireland, UK and Latvia.     The HR department for the North Sea Region consists of a Head of People, an Industrial & Employee Relations Manager, a People Business Partner and HR support. You will be part of a dedicated and driven team which values hard work, humor and teamwork.
