De functie

In this new role, the HR Advisor develops and implements human resource policies and programs. You will advise and support the organization to recruit and develop employees and have them achieve current and future business objectives. Furthermore you will be responsible for maintenance of HR procedures and their implementation on the level of individual employees. You will advise management and employees about HR related policy and/or topics to be successful. You will translate the HR-related rules and regulations into concrete actions and documents for the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • recruitment: planning, interviews, coordination with hiring manager and agencies, writing vacancy texts, monthly global recruitment meetings, administration in HR manager software tool;
  • onboarding (30 actions) and exit procedures; 
  • extended business trip coordination of housing & administration (A1, visa, permits);
  • illlness and disability registration, and coordination with Arbodienst;
  • overall HR administration; employment contracts, addenda, employer statements, function change, comp & ben confirmations, vacation registration, development, SAP codes of HQ, maintenance of Personnel data (AWVN), Doreco, SAP, ADP, Vital, request for po numbers for HR suppliers in Poland, quarterly CBS questionnaires and maintenance of P-files, support in Support in GDPR;
  • support in monthly and year cycles e.g.: people matter, PDD. Bonus cycle etc.;
  • monthly overviews and input for salary admin in cooperation with Salary administrator;
  • provide employees with advice and support in relation to HR working terms;
  • travel to Vlissingen once a month for advise and consultantion with management and staff;
  • travel to Denmark a few times a year for HR meetings.


  • support of Sr. HR Business Partner in overall HR operations;
  • HR administration within timeframe and budget;
  • management of HR processes and procedures conform C&B policy;
  • providing management reports, pro-actively and upon request;
  • substitute for Sr. Business Partner and Payroll Administrator in the Netherlands.
Het profiel

The HR Advisor must be able to work well within a global and international environment. A mixture of empathy, self-confidence and a pragmatic business focused approach to HR matters will be required:

  • 1-5 years of experience in an international HR advisement role;
  • an HBO level Human Resources management;
  • experience in a variety of HR areas e.g. recruitment, development, illness, and compensation & benefits;
  • demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of and understanding of all general HR activities, the value they can deliver and how to apply them into a corporate environment;
  • B1 or B2 level of Dutch and English written and verbally;
  • working knowledge to apply Dutch employment law;
  • experience with MS Office;
  • accurate and decisive.


  • experience with SAP and ADP;
  • demonstrates the ability to deliver practical HR solutions;
  • works structurally;
  • excellent personal credibility and integrity 7 country specific requirements (where applicable).
